Wirral Borough Council Asbestos Removal

Grade II listed civic hall

Client Requirements:

The client was carrying out extensive repair works within Wallasey Town Hall and appointed us to carry out specialist asbestos works. Works were required within the Civic Hall to remove asbestos spray coating insulation to sections of the ceiling and walls. As Wallasey Town Hall is a Grade II listed building the client expressed that extra care was taken during the works to ensure that the decorative panels where not damaged.

Process:

  • Initial Consultation with client
  • Site survey
  • Plan of work and pre notifications (HSE)
  • Execute work
  • Project completion checks and handover

Our Solution:

Our project team attended site promptly to scope the works. On inspection it was proposed that due to the intricate work involved, the asbestos coating would be carefully removed using hand tools to ensure damage was limited as far as possible. This was achieved by the team successfully, and on completion of the works, a full environmental clean was carried out to ensure the upmost, fully compliant asbestos removal service was provided.
