Social Value Activities We Have Supported

At ACT, we are committed to making a meaningful impact through community engagement, sustainability initiatives, and educational opportunities.

  • Proud Sponsors of Golborne Girls U14’s Football Team (pictured above)
  • ACT donated a play kitchen to support the refurbishment of a playroom at Salford Women’s Refuge, which houses up to 30 families.
  • Irwell Valley Housing Association – We donated hampers to an over-50s resident scheme.
  • Plus Dane Housing Association – ACT contributed to their crisis fund to support customers and families in severe hardship. Our support helped provide vouchers, toys, and fuel costs. We also donated prizes for charity raffles.
  • A Bed Every Night – A charity that helps people experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping. The scheme provides a bed, a hot meal, and support. ACT donated funds for 10 beds.
  • Great Places Housing Association – ACT made a generous donation to support vulnerable families at Christmas. We provided Love2Shop vouchers to help children of various ages living in poverty.
  • Community Gateway Housing Association – Supported their Christmas appeal by donating towards gifts for teenage boys. We provided a generous amount of Sports Direct gift vouchers.
  • ACT’s chosen charity is the Osbourne Trust, which offers emotional and practical support to children of parents diagnosed with cancer. This cause is close to our hearts, and we have supported it through donations for many years.
  • We have supported various local schools by funding school trips.
  • We support employee and customer charity fundraising.
  • ACT offer apprenticeship schemes, educational opportunities for unpaid industry placements and we work alongside local schools and colleges.
