ACT removed AIB under the windows covering the cavity beneath the sills and ceramic tiling to the window sills of 4 floors of the building.  Works were carried out under fully controlled conditions.

It was agreed with the client that works were to be carried out during term times. Certain high risk activities had to be conducted outside of ‘normal working hours’, early in the mornings and late at night at low occupancy times.  This was to ensure no disruptions were caused to the day to day operations of the University.

In each of the rooms, there were stationary objects that could not be moved or repositioned, so we used additional sheeting. When the University was open to the public, we placed hoarding around the transit areas to avoid any potential anxiety from the passing public.
