Asbestos health and safety

Safety

At ACT health and safety is the most important factor when considering a project that deals with or relates to asbestos. We adhere to a strict health and safety policy at all times.

Continuous comprehensive safety training is provided for all relevant employees at all levels from site operatives to senior management. We have identified the need for stringent controls to be in place to manage any potential risks to company employees and the general public. Programmes, method statements, risk assessments, safety audits and safe working procedures have been developed to ensure site personnel have the necessary information for the safe completion of every task. Copies of which are available upon request.

A clear channel for communication between site operatives, managers and the client is kept open at all times ensuring that any potential problems addressed quickly in the appropriate manner.


Quality

The quality of work in the asbestos removal industry is vitally important due to the competitive nature of the industry in which we operate. At ACT we pride ourselves on ensuring that the quality of our work is kept to a high standard at all times. This is achieved through continual programme of training for all site operatives and supervisors. We operate a quality management system which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 We do not cut corners.
